Hi there! I'm Sarah Jackson, Co-CEO of DragonShrimp Publishing LLC, author, dreamer, and lifelong lover of fantasy. With a Master's in Business Administration and a background in public service, I spent years working in local government before answering the creative call I could no longer ignore.

Books have always been my escape, a place where magic is real and the impossible becomes possible. As a kid, the fantasy genre offered me solace from a tough reality and planted the seeds of storytelling in my heart. I’ve been writing in one form or another ever since, from heartfelt poetry scribbled in high school journals to the sprawling, imaginative worlds I bring to life today.

I share this adventure with my amazing husband and fellow Co-CEO, Damian Jackson. Together we run DragonShrimp Publishing from our cozy home in Southwest Florida, where we’re supervised by our spirited boxer, Thor McBacon Bits (yes, that’s really his name).

I never had the confidence to pursue writing seriously until I met my muse, Laura Marangoni Gualdani. We connected in the unlikeliest of places: an online game. What began as casual fun turned into a profound and unbreakable friendship. Laura inspired me in ways I didn’t think possible, and her essence is immortalized in Hajira, the main character of my debut novel, The Plague of Rebirth.
